HELENA, Mont. - For the first time in 2026, the Carroll College Women's Soccer team will get to play on their home turf, hosting Arizona Christian and OUAZ in a Labor Day weekend pair on Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium.

The Fighting Saints (0-1-1) began their 2026 campaign last weekend in much different environment. Carroll traveled over 2,700 miles Southeast for two games in Florida, starting their season with the ultimate challenge.

Carroll opened the year against defending national champion, and No. 1-ranked Keiser, battling for 90 minutes but falling short 0-2. Less than 24 hours later, they turned around and took on St. Thomas. Freshman Makayla Schnabel (Billings, Mont.) came up clutch against the Bobcats, scoring an 82nd-minute goal to help the Saints escape with a 1-1 draw.

The young team is still learning to play together as a group, still working out some of the kinks with a roster that features 10 new freshmen and a pair of transfers joining 12 returners from last year's CCC Tournament-qualifying team.

On Saturday at 4 p.m., the Saints will officially open their home slate, hosting Arizona Christian. The two schools met in an early-season clash last fall in Glendale, with Carroll coming out on top 2-0.

Delaney Moczan (Las Vegas, Nev. / R-JR) scored once in last season's win over the Firestorm, and will make her return to the pitch this afternoon. Moczan lost the majority of last season to a knee injury, but will look to return to form in '26 and help the Saints chase another CCC title.

In a rare Monday morning matchup, Carroll will wrap up their opening weekend with a 9 a.m. tilt against OUAZ, a team they beat 3-0 to open the 2025 season.
