HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball team is back on home court this week, hosting traditional rivals Montana Tech and Montana Western as part of a busy Homecoming Week at the CC PE Center. 

The Fighting Saints (12-4, 7-2) made it through a grueling week in North Dakota, escaping a stretch of four games in five days with a 3-1 record to remain near the top of the Frontier Conference standings. Carroll was highly effective through the first three matches of the week, needing just ten total sets to take the three victories. The lone loss of the week came on the final game of the road swing, falling to a red-hot Bismarck State team that has won five matches in a row.

With the week-long trip in the rear-view, the Saints now find themselves at the midway point of the 2026 Frontier slate. After this week's pair against the Orediggers and Bulldogs, Carroll will have completed one full lap of the league's other 11 teams.

Sitting at 7-2 in league play, the Saints are dead even with Wednesday night's foe, No. 24 Montana Tech. While the Orediggers hold an 8-2 advantage over the last ten games of the all-time series, the Saints picked up a three-set sweep in the first meeting between the pair last season. Much like this year, the match just happened to fall right in the middle of Homecoming.

Friday night will see the Saints play host to Montana Western at 6 p.m., who currently sit No. 8 in the Frontier standings - the final spot in the league's postseason championship. Carroll won last year's meeting in Helena, knocking-off the Bulldogs in four.

The Saints have the Frontier's top offensive attack, leading the league with 787 total kills and a 12.90 average kills per set. Led by the Heuiser sisters, Lauren (194 kills) and Birdie (186 kills), the Carroll offense has been much more potent than recent years.

First serve for each game is slated for 6 p.m. on both Wednesday and Friday.
