HELENA, Mont.  – The Frontier Conference has announced the fourth installment of the 2026 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week following Saturday's action. The weekly awards recognize the top performances on offense, defense and special teams. Carroll linebacker Gage Norslien has been named the Week Three Special Teams Player of the Week.

Linebacker I Redshirt Junior I Lewistown, Mont.

Norslien made his presence felt on special teams in No. 15 ranked Carroll's 42-7 victory over Dickinson State on Saturday.

On Dickinson State's opening possession, Norslien broke through the protection and blocked a punt, which Carroll recovered and returned for a touchdown. It marked the Saints' first blocked punt since the 2024 season and helped Carroll seize control early in a dominant full team performance.

Norslien also was a heavy contributor defensively, finishing with 10 tackles, including three solo stops and seven assists, with 1.5 tackles for loss.

This is Norslien's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award, and Carroll's first Football weekly honor since sweeping all three categories on November 3, 2025 (Carson Ochoa - OPTOW, Braeden Orlandi - DPOTW, Connor Sullivan - STPOW).

Norslien and the Saints will wrap up non-conference play this weekend, as they head to Billings for a showdown with Rocky Mountain College at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Herb Klindt Field.
