HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball team will wrap up a five-game Frontier-opening homestand this weekend in Helena, hosting No. 19 Bellevue on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Dakota State on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. inside the CC PE Center.

The Fighting Saints (8-2, 3-0) got off to a hot start in league play last week, picking up a trio of wins over Rocky, No. 7 Providence, and MSU-Northern as they look to challenge for their first Frontier title since the 2016 season.

Standing in between the Saints and a perfect homestand this weekend are the No. 19-ranked Bruins (6-2, 2-0) and the Trojans (5-3, 2-0), both Frontier Conference Tournament teams from a year ago.

The quick start to conference play for Carroll is one of the best in program history. The Saints have not won their first three conference matches of the season since 2016, and they've not started 5-0 in league play since the 2015 season in which they opened up 6-0.

Last Friday, Carroll picked up its first Top-10 win since 2017, and now one week later they will have the opportunity to knock-off a second ranked opponent in No. 19 Bellevue.

The Saints and Bruins have met five times dating back to , and Carroll is looking for its first victory in the series. The pair met twice last season, with the Bruins sweeping both matches.

Carroll and Dakota State also met twice last season, the first year in the expanded Frontier Conference. The two teams split the regular season series, each winning their respective match on home court.

Only four Frontier Conference teams remain unbeaten in league play, and three of the four will hit the hardwood in Helena this weekend. Carroll sits on top of the standings with a perfect 3-0 mark, while both BU and DSU enter the weekend at 2-0 in conference play.
