HELENA, Mont. - This weekend's Softball series against Valley City State University, originally scheduled for Friday-Saturday, has been moved back one day and will now take place on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19.

With forecasted inclement weather and low temperatures on Friday in the Helena area, administrators at both schools have agreed to move the series into the weekend where temperatures are forecasted to be much more mild.

Saturday afternoon's series-opening doubleheader will be played with start times at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m., while the series will wrap up with a Sunday doubleheader slated for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The Fighting Saints (14-12, 9-7) have already seen four games on their schedule canceled due to weather - two of which were Frontier Conference contests - and this weekend's change is made with an effort to avoid any further potential cancellations.

Saturday's doubleheader will be broadcast live on SWX stations throughout Montana, Northern Idaho, and Eastern Washington. Check your local listings for coverage.
