HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll Softball team is ready to round out the non-conference portion of their 2026 schedule, as they compete in the Tucson Invitational Games, with eight contests lined up over the next five days in Tucson, Ariz.
The Fighting Saints (1-3) got off to a great start on opening day, picking up a season-opening win over (RV) College of Idaho, before falling in the second game and a pair of losses to now-ranked No. 2 Eastern Oregon in their first action of the year.
This weekend, they'll look to get things rolling against teams from throughout the NAIA, as they take part in a week-long softball showcase in sunny Tucson. The Saints will have eight opportunities to improve their early season record, as they play doubleheaders on four of the next five days against various teams from the West and Midwest.
On Saturday, they'll open things up against College of Saint Mary (Neb.) at 11 a.m., before an afternoon tilt with Arizona Christian at 1:30 p.m.
Sunday's doubleheader begins at 11 a.m. against Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.), followed by a 1 p.m. second leg against Viterbo (Wis.).
Following on off-day on Monday, the Saints wil play Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.) at 11 am on Tuesday, then William Penn (Iowa) at 1 p.m.
They'll cap-off their long week with a second game against the V-Hawks of Viterbo at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, and take on Indiana Tech in a 1 p.m. finale.
