TUCSON, Ariz. - The Carroll College Softball doubleheader against Benedictine-Mesa and William Penn (Iowa), originally scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. as part of the Tucson Invitational Games has been canceled.

Overnight rain washed out the playing surfaces at the Lincoln Park fields, and field conditions were deemed unplayable for all of the eight games slated to take place.

The two games will not be made-up.

Crews will work on getting the fields ready for the final day of the event tomorrow, where the Fighting Saints are scheduled to cap things off with a doubleheader against Viterbo (Wis.) and Indiana Tech at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
