KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for winter sports. 19 student-athletes from Carroll College were recognized with the top academic honor the NAIA annually awards.

To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards, with 3,143 individuals across basketball, bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, swimming & diving, and wrestling.

The Carroll Women's Basketball team led the Saints with seven selections:
Ava Oakland (Boise, Idaho / SR)
Ellie Denny (Fairfield, Wash. / JR)
Gracie Millimen (Manhattan, Mont. / R-FR)
Halle Fitzgerald (Dillon, Mont. / R-FR)
Isabelle Erickson (Broadview, Mont. / R-SR)
Sadie Smith (Frenchtown, Mont. / R-FR)
Willa Albrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-SR)

The Carroll Men's Basketball team had six selections:
Aidan McGarvin (Eagle, Idaho / SR)
Isaac Round (Northampton, England / SO) 
Josiah Cuaresma (Missoula, Mont. / JR)
Kaden Cox (Fort Collins, Colo. / SO)
Kellen Harrison (Bozeman, Mont. / SO)
Lorence Dela Cruz (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada / SR)

The Carroll Cheer team had five selections:
Abigail Bennett (East Helena, Mont. / JR)
Carley Wertheimer (Havre, Mont. / SR)
Elisabeth Lloyd (Helena, Mont. / JR)
Ellie Paris (Billings, Mont. / JR)
Kennedy Vogl (Townsend, Mont. / JR)

The Carroll Dance team had one student-athlete selected:
