KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the third edition of the Netting Professionals NAIA Football Top-25 Coaches' Poll. Carroll College has climbed once again, now appearing at No. 17 entering Frontier conference play.
The climb continues for the Fighting Saints (3-1), who began the season at No. 25 in the national poll. Following a 27-13 win over Rocky Mountain College on Saturday, the Saints moved up one spot to No. 17 in thea national ranks.
Carroll is now of just four Frontier Conference teams ranked inside of the Top-25, while a fifth appears in the receiving votes portion of the poll.
Dickinson State dropped out of the ranks following a 41-21 loss to now-ranked No. 8 Montana Western. Montana Tech moved up one spot to No. 5 after a win over No. 25 College of Idaho, who remained idle in this week's poll.
This is the first time that Carroll has been ranked as the No. 17 team in the NAIA Poll since Coaches' Polls began being tracked (1997).
Frontier Conference - West division play begins this weekend for the Saints, who will make their second-ever trip to the desert for a game against Arizona Christian at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.

Poll Methodology
- The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
- A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
- The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
- 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
- The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
- Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
