Kirkland, Wash. — The Carroll Women's Soccer team played to a 0-0 draw at Northwest on Saturday afternoon, wrapping up a month-long stanza of games on the road.

Both defenses held strong throughout. Carroll outshot the Eagles 16-13 and put eight shots on goal compared to Northwest's five. The Saints also earned three corner kicks, while Northwest finished with three.

Carroll keeper Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / JR) made five saves in her clean sheet effort shutout, including three in the first half. On the other end, Northwest's Katie Snow stopped all eight Carroll shots on frame, six of which cameafter halftime.

Ella Kuenzli ( Bigfork, Mont. / SR) led the Saints with three shots on goal, while Hayley Smith (Woods Cross, Utah / JR) and Sydney Coulter (Colorado Springs, Colo. / SR) added three total shots.

Up next, the Saints will finally return to Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium as they host Oregon Tech on Thursday evening at 5 p.m.
