Kirkland, Wash. — The Carroll Men's Soccer team earned a 4-1 road victory over Northwest on Saturday afternoon, improving to 6-1-1 overall and 4-0 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play.
The Saints jumped in front early as Felix Billard (Mallorca, Spain / JR) converted on a on penalty kick in just the fourth minute. The Eagles leveled the score just before halftime when Matthew Ludlow struck in the 44th minute off an assist from Roland Ngoy.
Carroll took control after the break. Alfie Snow (Middlesbrough, England / SR) continued his great road trip, scoring in the 51st minute to put Carroll in front for good on an assist from Pedro Teixeira (Braga, Portugal / JR).
Less than 12 minutes later, the Saints pulled away with a pair of quick goals. Sam Loughton (East Yorkshire, England / JR) put one away in the 63rd minute off an assist from Sean Balen (Mukilteo, Wash. / JR) and just 31 seconds later, Snow netted his second goal of the game and third goal of the weekend, again assisted by Teixeira, to make it 4-1.
The Saints will now finally have the opportunity to play their first official home game of the 2025 season next week, as they have a pair of critical matchups against Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon in Helena.
