KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the second edition of the Netting Professionals NAIA Football Top-25 Coaches' Poll. Carroll College has climbed seven spots to No. 18 entering the final week of non-conference play.
Following a dominant 35-7 win over Dickinson State on Saturday, the Fighting Saints (2-1) made a big splash in the national poll. Carroll vaulted into the Top-20 for the first time this season, making the biggest jump of any team in the nation, up seven spots to No. 18.
The Saints leapfrogged the Blue Hawks after the lopsided victory, as Dickinson State fell from No. 11 to No. 20.
Carroll remains one of five Frontier Conference teams ranked inside of the Top-25, while a sixth league-member appears in the receiving votes portion of the poll. Montana Tech moved up one spot to No. 6 after a win over then-ranked No. 24 Southern Oregon, while the Raiders dropped into the receiving votes portion. Montana Western remained idle at No. 9 after their win over Carroll's upcoming opponent Rocky, while College of Idaho moved into the final spot on the poll at No. 25 for the first time this season.
This is the first time since the 2015 season that the Saints have occupied the No. 18 position in the poll (Week 6 - October 19, 2015), and only the third time in school history at No. 18 (Spring 2013).
Saturday will mark the first game in September in which the Saints will not play a ranked opponent, as they welcome Rocky Mountain College for a Homecoming game at 6 p.m.

Poll Methodology
- The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
- A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
- The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
- 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
- The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
- Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
