HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams will officially kick off Cascade Collegiate Conference play on Friday afternoon, taking on in-state rival Rocky Mountain College. The Women will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the Men following at 5 p.m. with both games played at Wendy's Field.

Following a nearly two-month preseason on both sides of the action, the Fighting Saints are ready to compete for the CCC crown this fall.

The Carroll Women (2-0-2) enter the conference slate with an unbeaten record, aiming to better their fourth place finish in the final table from a year ago.

Friday afternoon's CCC opener should need no additional motivation, however, the Saints will surely be looking for revenge as they take on a Battlin' Bears (2-1) side that knocked them out of the conference tournament last November.

The Women opened their season with a pair of wins in the desert at the beginning of the month, but were forced to settle for a pair of draws against NCAA Division III talent last weekend in Washington.

Dealing with injuries at several key positions, Carroll's depth will be tested right from the get-go in 2025.

The Carroll Men are looking to defend their conference crown for the first time in program history, with all eyes on them as the 2024 league champions.

It was an up-and-down non-conference slate for the Saints (2-1-1), who are working towards filling holes left by a decorated 2024 graduating class. 

Carroll began the season in the receiving votes portion of the NAIA MSOC Poll, but have since fallen out of the ranks following a 2-3 loss at Benedictine-Mesa two weeks ago.

With no shortage of talent, the '24 CCC Champs will have to have all 11 pieces on the pitch working together if they want to reclaim their title.
