HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll Volleyball team is back in action at the Carroll College PE Center this week, hosting a pair of games against new Frontier members. The Saints will take on Mayville State tonight at 6 p.m., and will welcome Valley City State on Thursday evening at 6 p.m.

Following a disappointing road trip last weekend, the Fighting Saints (7-6, 2-3) will look to get back to their winning ways with a pair of games against fresh faces making their first appearances in Helena.

Wednesday night marks the first meeting between the Saints and the Comets. Mayville State is in the middle of a week-long Montana stand, having stayed in Helena for the past several days following road games at MSU-Northern and Providence last weekend. The Comets enter the night on a seven-game losing streak, and have yet to win a set in Frontier Conference play.

On Thursday, Valley City State will make their first trip to the PE Center for what will be the second meeting between the teams in program history. The Saints were edged out by the Vikings in five sets on a neutral court at the 2022 Labor Day Classic in Bellevue, Neb.

The NAIA released its second Coaches' Top-25 Poll of the regular season earlier today, and the Fighting Saints remain in the receiving votes portion for the third consecutive release. Carroll is one of six Frontier schools appearing in the poll or receiving votes (No. 4 Providence, No. 5 Bellevue, No. 19 Montana Tech, RV Dakota State, RV Dickinson State).
