KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released its 2025 Preseason Volleyball Coaches' Top-25 Poll. Carroll College appears in the receiving votes portion of the initial national poll.

With the highly-anticipated 2025 season opener nearing, the Fighting Saints find themselves in familiar territory among the teams receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.

Carroll is no stranger to early season polling, having appeared in the receiving votes category numerous times in the last four years. Finding a way to crack into the Top-25 and sustain success, however, will be a primary goal for the 2025 squad in a new-look Frontier Conference loaded with some of the NAIA's top-ranked teams.

The Saints last appeared inside the Top-25 on August 31 of 2022, and are eyeing a return to the ranks this Fall. The last time that Carroll appeared in the Top-25 in the Preseason Poll was the 2017 season in which they began at No. 23.

Carroll is one of seven teams from the Frontier Conference that are either ranked, or in the receiving votes portion of the Preseason NAIA Coaches' Poll. (Bellevue, Providence, Montana Western, Montana Tech, Dakota State, Valley City State).

The Saints will officially open play on August 22, as they take on Campbellsville (Ky.) at the Big Sky Challenge in Butte.

Poll Methodology

• The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
• A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
• The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
  • 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
• The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
• Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
• For the Preseason Poll, there is no "previous ranking" column since it is the initial poll and differs from the prior rating system.
