ATLANTA, Ga – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced its 2024-25 WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls. Carroll College appears at No. 4 on the nation-wide GPA listing.
With yet another appearance inside the top-10 in the NAIA for team-wide GPA, the Fighting Saints flexed their muscle in the classroom with a fourth-best mark in 2024-25.
The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
This past academic year was a high-water mark for the Saints, as they posted a program-best 3.766 team-wide cumulative GPA over the course of the 2024-25 year.
The No. 4 ranking is the highest placement in the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll in Carroll program history.
Carroll is once again finished with the top GPA in the Frontier Conference, with Providence sitting at T-12 (3.662) and No. 23 MSU-Northern (3.470) as the conference's lone other recognized institutions.
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "The 119 teams we honor this year strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts. Congratulations!"
Below is the 2024-25 NAIA WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The head coach listed for each institution was its head coach during the 2024-25 season. Teams having a 3.0 combined GPA and qualifying for consideration for the top 25 in their respective divisions are listed as special mentions.
