HELENA, Mont. - With Fall camp report day under two months away and anticipation building, Head Coach Troy Purcell has officially announced the start times for the home portion of the 2025 Carroll College Football schedule.

Following an abnormal year in which Nelson Stadium played host to an unprecedented six regular season home games, the Fighting Saints will return to a balanced five-home, five-road schedule in a new-look Frontier Conference. 

The 2024 renovation to Nelson Stadium saw the storied venue receive a shiny new addition, with a state-of-the-art lighting system erected to allow for greater access for team practices, and competition. This year, the Saints are making good use of the new investment. The '25 home slate for the Fighting Saints features three Saturday afternoon games, as well as a pair of games to be played under the lights.

The first two games of the Saints' '25 home schedule will be played at night, as both the home-opener against Montana Tech on September 6, and the September 27 Homecoming game against Rocky Mountain College will kick-off at 6 p.m. 

Only one home game falls in the month of October - a mid-month showdown with Simpson (Calif.) at 1 p.m. on October 18. The Red Hawks are an associate-member of the Frontier, and are in their second season in program history. 

Carroll will end the regular season with back-to-back home games, as the College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon come to the Capital City on November 8 and 15, with both games kicking-off at 12 p.m., both sure to carry postseason implications

2025 marks a significant change for the Frontier Conference and its landscape, as the Montana-based league sees a large expansion. Beginning in July, the Frontier will welcome full-time members Dickinson State (N.D.), Dakota Sate (S.D.), Mayville State (N.D.), Valley City State (N.D.). Those four teams, along with traditional Frontier-members MSU-Northern, Rocky Mountain College, and Montana Tech will comprise the East Division of the Frontier Conference.

The Saints will compete in the West Division of the new Frontier, joined by Montana Western, the College of Idaho, Eastern Oregon, Southern Oregon, Arizona Christian, and new associate-member Simpson (Calif.).

The expansion of the league and the creation of two divisions will give the league a pair of automatic qualifiers for the NAIA Football Championship Series - a division champion from the West, and a division champion from the East.

As part of their ten-game schedule, the Saints will begin the season with four non-conference games before a run of six-consecutive conference games to end the season. 

Carroll begins the year on the Hi-Line, heading to Havre on August 30 for the season-opener at MSU-Northern.

The Saints play three games in September, three in October, and three in November.

The 134th clash between Carroll and Montana Tech under the lights on September 6 is a marquee home-opener, sure to provide excitement as always, and will lead into an early bye-week. The Saints will then have two weeks to prepare for a road-trip to Dickinson State on September 20, their first trip to the Blue Hawks since 2013.

Homecoming weekend, and all associated festivities, is slated for September 27. The first on-campus homecoming night game in school history will take place between the Fighting Saints and the Battlin' Bears at 6 p.m., putting a bow on one of the busiest weekends all year.

The Saints will spend the early portion October on the road, beginning conference play with a road trip to Arizona Christian for just the second time in program history, followed by a trip to Dillon for a showdown with the two-time defending Frontier Champions, Montana Western, the following week.

After hosting Simpson at home on October 18, the Saints will head to Ashland, Ore. for a late-season matchup with Southern Oregon on November 1, then cap the regular season with home games against CI and EOU.

Season Ticket renewals will open on Monday, June 9, and all prior-year season ticket-holders will be emailed with renewal instructions later this week. Starting July 1, all remaining tickets will be made available for new season ticket holders, and single-game tickets will become available in August.
