Kansas City, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for spring sports. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the spring sports who have excelled academically, including baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, track and field, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's volleyball and women's beach volleyball.

Carroll College once again led the Frontier Conference with a total of 31 spring sport scholar-athletes, representing both Men's and Womens's Track & Field, as well as Men's and Women's Golf.

Softball, which is in its final year as a Cascade Collegiate Conference affiliate before the transition to a Frontier sport next season, had a total of seven student-athletes recognized for their academic prowess.

Across all sports in the 2024-25 academic calendar, 131 Fighting Saints were recognized as Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, meaning nearly one-third of all Carroll student-athletes were honored with the highest academic award the NAIA presents each year

To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport, and have attended their institution for at least one full year. This year, the list features an impressive number of student-athletes who have met these rigorous standards.
