HELENA, Mont. - The Frontier Conference has announced its 2024-25 Men's and Women's Basketball All-Conference and postseason individual award winners. Carroll College was once again well represented on the postseason honors, as
Kyndall Keller was named Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year, and
Isaiah Crane was named Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Freshman of the Year.
For the third time in as many seasons, the Fighting Saints boast the Frontier's Player of the Year on the Women's side of the action.
Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / R-SR) joins her former teammate
Jamie Pickens ('23,'24 POTY) in garnering the league's top distinction following an outstanding senior campaign.
Keller was the leading scorer in the league throughout conference play, averaging 16.1 points per game against Frontier competition, and 14.7 points per game on the year as a whole.
One of just two seniors on the roster, Keller was highly efficient, averaging 43 percent from the floor during conference play, and better than 40 percent from three-point range as well. She pulled down 4.2 rebounds per game from her guard spot, third-best on the roster, while also finishing second on the team with 60 total assists on the year.
Keller became the 24th-member of the Carroll Women's Basketball 1,000-point club during the season, and will enter the NAIA tournament at No. 21 on the all-time scoring list (1134 points). She posted a career-high 29 points on senior night against Montana Tech last month.
A Second Team All-Conference selection in 2024, Keller was a unanimous First Team selection in addition to her Player of the Year award this year.
On the Men's side of the honors, Carroll's
Isaiah Crane (Portland, Ore. / R-FR) was awarded Frontier Conference Freshman of the year after bursting onto the scene with a highly-impressive first full season of action.
Crane was phenomenal all season long, starting with a 23-point performance in the first game of the year, followed by multiple new career-bests that would ultimately include a 38-point performance against Rocky late in the season.
The highly-gifted scorer is believed to be the first Freshman in Frontier Conference history to lead the league in scoring, as he averaged 18.4 points per game on the year. Crane's 18.4 ppg marks the third straight season in which a Saint has led the conference in scoring (
Andrew Cook - '23, '24).
Alongside the two individual awards, multiple Saints were named All-Conference performers.
Willa Albrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-JR) was named First Team All-Conference on the Women's side, leading the Saints with a total points and rebounds at 15.0 points per game, and 7.1 rebounds per game.
Addi Ekstrom (Bozeman, Mont. / SR) was awarded her first All-Conference selection of her career, named a Second Team All-Conference selection in addition to yet another appearance on the Frontier Conference All-Defensive Team.
Isaac Round (Northampton, England / FR) was named a Second Team All-Conference selection on the Men's side, after joining Crane as the only two freshmen in program history to average 10.0 points per game in the same season.
The award recipients are selected by the six head coaches in the conference, who are not permitted to vote for their own players.
