HELENA, Mont. - With the 2025 regular season officially in the books, both the Carroll College Men's and Women's Soccer teams turn their attention towards the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship this weekend, as both eye a tournament crown and spot in the upcoming NAIA National Championship later this month.
Following a strong end to the season, with wins in four of their last five contests, the Carroll Women (7-4-5, 5-4-3) qualified for the postseason tournament, earning the eighth seed for the event by way of a point differential tiebreaker with Northwest. They'll take on top-seeded College of Idaho (14-2, 11-1) in a quarterfinal match on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 2 p.m. (MST) at Wheeler Field in Medford, Ore.
The Carroll Men (12-2-2, 10-1-1) earned the second seed in the 2025 Championship following their second straight season with 10 or more conference victories. They'll begin their quest for the program's first tournament title with a 5 p.m. (MST) quarterfinal matchup on Saturday against seventh-seeded Oregon Tech at Wheeler Field.
The 12-team CCC means the league receives two atuo-bids to the NAIA National Championship on each side of the action. The first bids are awarded to the regular season champions (WSOC: College of Idaho, MSOC; Eastern Oregon) and the second two are given to the tournament champion. Should either Carroll team advance to the final
and play against the regular season champion, they will be awarded the second auto-bid with a win or a loss.Â
