HELENA, Mont. - Both the Frontier Conference and Cascade Collegiate Conferenc (CCC) have announced the winners of their weekly individual honors. After a weekend filled with big performances, Carroll College had six student-athletes recognized for their on field achievements during competition from October 28 – November 2, 2025.
It was a memorable weekend for the Fighting Saints featuring big wins, and very big performances worthy of recognition.
Both the Carroll Football team and Men's Soccer team swept the weekly awards for their respective sports, while Women's Soccer was represented for the first time this season.
Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Juan Muniz Navarrete
(RV) Carroll College's Juan Muniz Navarrete was named the CCC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
Muniz Navarrete, a senior goalkeeper from Hermiston, Ore., anchored the Fighting Saints to two more shutouts against Bushnell University and Corban University, tallying six saves to help secure the No. 2 seed in the postseason championship.
Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Felix Billard
(RV) Carroll College's Felix Billard was named the CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Billard, a junior forward from Mallorca, Spain, scored two goals and added three assists to lead the Fighting Saints to two more shutouts against Bushnell University and Corban University, finishing with seven points and a .750 shot-on-goal percentage to help secure the No. 2 seed in the postseason championship.
Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week: Maria Ackerman
Carroll College's Maria Ackerman was named the CCC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
Ackerman, a junior goalkeeper from Billings, Mont., posted back-to-back shutouts for the Fighting Saints, recording nine total saves.
Football Offensive Player of the Week: Carson Ochoa
Ochoa, a senior tight end from Yorba Linda, Calif., is the Offensive Player of the Week.
He was perhaps the most important piece in No. 8 ranked Carroll's (Mont.) 41-40 road victory at Southern Oregon. Ochoa hauled in a program record-tying four touchdown passes, including a score with just 56 seconds left to pull the Saints within one and set up the game-winning two-point conversion.
Ochoa posted team-highs with seven catches for 108 yards, averaging 15.4 yards per catch.
This is Ochoa's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Football Defensive Player of the Week: Braeden Orlandi
Orlandi, a redshirt-sophomore defensive back from Valley Springs, Calif., is the Defensive Player of the Week.
He led No. 8 Carroll's defense in a 41-40 road win at Southern Oregon, finishing with a game-high 16 tackles and registered a half tackle-for-loss of one yard.
Orlandi recorded 10 solo tackles and six assist tackles in the game for the Saints.
This is Orlandi's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Football Special Teams Player of the Week: Connor Sullivan
Sullivan, a junior wide receiver from Kalispell, Mont., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.
He was a key cog in No. 8 ranked Carroll's 41-40 victory at Southern Oregon, giving the Saints good field position on nearly every return.
Sullivan finished with 233 yards on eight total returns, including a 50-yard return to set the Saints up in plus-territory on the ultimate game-winning scoring drive with under two minutes remaining. He averaged 29.1 yards per kick-off for the Saints.
This is Sullivan's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
