HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Basketball teams will face an early-season weekend test in North Dakota, as they take on new Frontier Conference-members Dickinson State on Friday and Bismarck State on Saturday, with doubleheaders slated for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. each night.

The Carroll Women (1-2, 0-1) are No. 14 in the NAIA, and will look to bounce back from a tough Frontier-opening loss at 2024-25 Conference Champion & No. 17-ranked Rocky last Thursday.

The Saints have shown promise in the young season, but have been prone to stretches of poor shooting in their two losses. With a plethora of new faces, the young group continues to learn on the fly with the end goal of being dialed-in come tournament time in March.

Willa Albrecht (Billings, Mont. / R-SR) continues to lead the team in scoring, entering the week averaging 18.8 points per game, while freshman Jillian Kanduch (Miles City, Mont.) has continued to impress, averaging just shy of eight points per game in her young career.

Friday's opponent, Dickinson State, is 2-2 on the season with a pair of losses to No. 7 Lewis-Clark State, while Bismarck State remains winless on the year.

The Carroll Men (2-1, 1-0) earned a hard-fought victory in their conference opener against the Battlin' Bears last weekend, with a total team effort leading to a two-point win over (RV) Rocky.

A trio of Saints are averaging 12 or more points per game, led by reigning Frontier Freshman of the Year Isaiah Crane (Portland, Ore. / R-SO) at 21.7. Kellen Harrison is averaging 16.7 while also shooting a highly-impressive 64.3 percent from three point range. Isaac Round (Northampton, England / SO) is averaging 12 points per game, while also leading the team in assists.

The Blue Hawks enter the weekend with a 2-4 record and have yet to play a conference opponent, while the Mystics are 0-4 on the year.

Tip-off for the Women's games are scheduled for 5 p.m. each night, with the Men to follow at 7.
