HELENA, Mont. - After a grueling three-month sprint, the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference season comes to a close this afternoon, as the second-seeded Carroll Men take on four-seed Warner Pacific in the CCC Championship match at the Lithia Driveway Fields in Medford, Ore.

The road to the title game hasn't been as smooth as the Fighting Saints (13-2-3) may have hoped for, but the resilient group has found a way to return to the league's championship match for the second-straight season.

Monday night, the Carroll Men outlasted the upstart Beacons of Bushnell, punching their ticket to the title match with a 5-4 win in penalty kicks.

Following the marathon Carroll semifinal, the Saints' championship opponent, Warner Pacific, knocked out Rocky Mountain College with a 2-0 shutout to set up Wednesday afternoon's title-fight.

The Saints and Knights met in Helena last month, with Carroll pulling out a 2-0 win featuring goals from Nils Benning (Kiel, Germany / JR) and Enrico Paparelli (Sao Paulo, Brazil / R-SO). The win was the second-straight in the series for Carroll, matching a 2-0 win in Portland last Fall.

Wednesday's match will be Carroll's second Championship appearance in program history, and the Saints will look to capture the tournament crown for the first time following last year's loss to Eastern Oregon.

Warner Pacific has reached the title game five times, and are making their first appearance since the 2022 season.
