HELENA, Mont. – Willa Albrecht of Carroll College earned both Offensive and defensive weekly honors in the third installment of the 2025-26 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Women's Basketball weekly awards, which were announced Tuesday by the league office.

Albrecht, a redshirt-senior forward from Billings, Mont., was selected as the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week.

The standout guard's double-double with 28 points and 17 rebounds fueled No. 16 Carroll in their home-opening victory over (RV) Wayland Baptist, 79-58.  Albrecht was stellar in the win, going 9-19 from the field (47.3 percent). Entering the season at No. 2 in program history for free throw percentage (85.9 percent), Albrecht hit all nine of her free throw attempts.

The big game was a complete effort, as the All-Conference performer also contributed four assists, three steals, and a block for the Fighting Saints. From her guard position, she pulled down 15 defensive rebounds in the game.

This is Albrecht's sixth career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week.

Albrecht and the rest of the Saints are hard at work preparing for their 2025-26 Frontier Conference opener, as they travel to Billings for a 5 p.m. Friday matchup with No. 21 Rocky Mountain College.
