(RV) Saints Play Pivotal Road Pair at Western and Tech

10/31/25 | 3:40 PM

HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll Volleyball team enters the penultimate weekend of the 2025 season with a pair of traditional rivalries against Montana Western and Montana Tech on the road on both Friday and Saturday.

With just four games remaining in the season, the Saints find themselves in a log-jam in the middle of the Frontier Conference standings, sitting at 10-8 in league play.

This weekend, they'll take on a pair of teams sandwiched in the pile with them, as Montana Tech has an identical 10-8 conference record, while Western sits one game back at 9-9.

All three teams find themselves in position to qualify for the Frontier Conference Championship - which will be hosted by Carroll next month at the PE Center, but all three are aiming to better their seeding as the season winds down.

Carroll has a leg up on both teams, having picked up a pair of wins over the schools during Homecoming weekend in September. Finding a way to win the season series against both traditional rivals could prove highly beneficial for seeding purposes, paving the way for favorable matchups throughout the Frontier tournament in a couple of weeks.

Friday night, the Saints will take on Western in Dillon. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. A live stream can be found HERE, and live stats HERE.

Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m., they'll wrap up the road portion of their schedule against the Orediggers. A live stream can be found HERE, and live stats HERE.
