Defensive Player of the Week: Kellen Harrison, Carroll College
Harrison, a sophomore guard from Bozeman, Mont., was selected as the Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
He led all players with nine defensive rebounds, a steal, and a block in a double-double effort to start the 2025-26 campaign in Carroll's (Mont.) 96-82 victory over St. Thomas (Fla.).
Harrison also scored 18 points in the game, going five of seven from the field as the Fighting Saints began their season with a win for the 12th time in the last 13 seasons.
This is Harrison's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award, and marks the first time since November of 2024 that a Saint had garnered Defensive Player of the Week honors (
Derek Kramer - 11/4/24)
Harrison and the Saints are set to host the NAIA's top-ranked team, the College of Idaho, on Saturday night a 6 p.m., looking for a signature early-season upset at the PE Center.
