KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the latest edition of the Netting Professionals NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Carroll College moved up three spots, now appearing at No. 9 in the nation.
For the first time since 2023 (October 16 - Poll No. 6), the Fighting Saints (6-1, 3-0) appear inside the NAIA Coaches' Poll Top-10.

The Fighting Saints are in the top 10 for the first time this season after shutting out Simpson (Calif.), 44-0. Kaden Huot threw five touchdown passes, including two each to Lincoln Holmes and Chris Akulschin, ending the day 23-for-25 for 312 yards. Carroll is off this week before opening the month of November at Southern Oregon.

The Saints remain one of four Frontier Conference teams ranked inside the Top-25, three of which hailing from the West division. Montana Tech, the lone East team in the Poll, is No. 4. College of Idaho has moved up to No. 16 following their win over Montana Western last weekend, who now appears at No. 20.
The last time that Carroll was ranked at No. 9 in the poll was September 25, 2023.
Carroll is idle this week, getting a well-deserved break after a five-game win streak and undefeated start to conference play. They will return to action next Saturday in Ashland, Ore., as they'll play their final road game of the 2025 regular season against Southern Oregon.

Poll Methodology
- The national poll is for publicity purposes only and does not influence the selection process for national championship consideration.
- A panel of head coaches representing each conference and the Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) votes in the poll.
- The Top 25 teams are selected using a points-based system:
- 30 points for a 1st-place vote, 29 for 2nd, 28 for 3rd, and so on.
- The highest and lowest rankings received by each team are discarded before final tallying.
- Teams receiving only one point are not listed as "receiving votes."
