KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the fifth edition of its Netting Professionals Football Coaches' Top-25 Poll. For the fourth-straight poll, the Carroll Football team has moved up, now appearing at No. 12.
Riding a four-game winning streak, including a 42-34 win over then-ranked No. 8 Montana Western last weekend, the Fighting Saints (5-1) have ascended to No. 12 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Poll.
Carroll remains one of four Frontier Conference teams ranked in the national poll, and are now the West divisions top-ranked team. After the Saints' road win in last's week's lone ranked matchup in the NAIA, the Bulldogs fell seven spots to No. 15. Montana Tech moved up one position to No. 6, while College of Idaho - the only other undefeated team in West divisional play - moved up into a tie for No. 20.
The No. 12 ranking is the highest for the Saints since the 2023 season, matching their No. 12 ranking in the October 30 edition of the poll.
A Top-10 ranking could be in the Saints' future as early as next week, as two games on the NAIA slate feature opponents both inside of the Top-10 (No. 2 Keiser vs No. 8 St. Thomas, No. 7 Lindsey Wilson vs No. 9 Campbellsville).
