Men's Basketball | 09/05/24 | 10:39 AM
HELENA, Mont. - First year Head Coach Daniel Pearson has announced six new recruits to finalize the 2024-25 Carroll Men's Basketball roster.
Â
"In our program's inaugural class, it was important to our recruitment strategy that we highlighted stylistic fits for the style of basketball we look to play in our long-term vision," said Pearson. "The Saints community can be proud of the young men who will be wearing the "C" for the first time this season."
Â
The addition of the following three high school graduates and three transfer students rounds out the Saints' 2024 recruiting class. All six recruits arrived on campus Sunday, August 18, and are poised to add depth, size, and experience to the current group of returning players.

Kellen Harrison | Bozeman, Mont. | Bozeman High School
Harrison joins the Saints after finishing an outstanding athletic career at Bozeman High School. Last season Harrison led the AA regular season in scoring at 19.1 PPG, was first in the state in 3-pointers made per game at 2.9, and third in the state in steals per game at 2.8, all while leading Bozeman to an undefeated 18-0 regular season record. Harrison was also named the 2023 Football Montana Gatorade Player of the Year at the quarterback position, a run that was capped off with a State football title. Harrison brings a 4.0 GPA and will be joining the Pre-Med track at Carroll.
"I chose Carroll because I wanted to be in a place that felt like family," said Harrison. "The culture that has been built here is something that I want to be a part of."
"Kellen for us is the type of character that you build a program around," said Pearson. "The young man has every trait you could ask for in someone who puts winning first and has a charisma and a healthy self-confidence that makes him a magnet to his teammate."
Â
Carter Doleac | Sandy, Utah | Alta High School
Doleac brings his versatility and size to the Fightings Saints roster. Doleac averaged 12.8 PPG and 5.5 RPG while shooting 60% from the field and 39% from behind the arc. The 6'8" forward led Alta High School to the class 5A #1 overall seed heading into the state tournament before falling in the State Championship Game. Doleac will be studying Business at Carroll.
"I chose Carroll because it seemed to be the best fit for me," said Doleac. "The academics and sports here are top tier."
"Carter is the type of character and physical profile you love walking into a program with," said Pearson. "We love players who desire to be a part of the extension of the Carroll College community, and we feel like we have a perfect fit for what we are looking for in a long-term Saint."
Â
Isaac Round | Southampton, England | Reading Rockets - NBL Division 1
Round joins Carroll bringing valuable international experience, including being named captain of the Great Britain U18 National Team for the 2022 FIBA European Championships. Round led England's EABL (top national academy league) in efficiency (328) and scoring (23.7 PPG). He was named the U17 EABL South Player of the Year in 2021/22, and was runner up Player of the Year in 2023-24. Round played the last 3 Seasons with the Reading Rockets, an NBL Division 1 Men's professional team. Round will be studying Business at Carroll.
"Joining Carroll will bring a thrilling new experience which I am massively grateful for," said Round.
"Isaac is an absolute gym rat who has already found success and familiarity inside the systems that we will implement, and I am thrilled with the type of person and teammate that Saints are getting in Isaac," said Pearson.
Â
Cam Niles | Fair Oaks, Cali. | Yuba College
Niles comes to Helena with high-level college experience. Niles finished his senior season at Del Campo High School averaging 15.2 PPG and 9.9 RPG and was a two-time All-Capital Athletic League First Team Selection prior to signing at UC Davis in the Big West Conference where he red-shirted in 2021-22. After that, Niles transferred to Yuba College where he averaged 9.5 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and 2.1 APG and was part of one of Yuba's best teams in program history, making it to the California Junior College Final 4. Niles will continue studying Psychology at Carroll.
"I chose Carroll because of the tight knit community," said Niles.
"Cam Niles brings versatility and experience that was key to this year's recruiting class," said Pearson. "Cam has an infectious personality that will mix in well with our current roster and we look forward to him bringing a sense of maturation and experience on the court."

Lorence De La Cruz | Winnipeg, Manitoba | Central Wyoming College
De La Cruz joins the Saints after spending two years playing for new Assistant Coach Brad Schmit at Central Wyoming College. De La Cruz averaged 14.1 PPG and 2.2 APG in 19 minutes of play as a Freshman and 12.2 PPG and 3.3 APG in 14.3 minutes of play as a Sophomore. De La Cruz brings in a 3.3 GPA from last year, and is going to continue studying Civil Engineering at Carroll.Â
"I chose Carroll because of the strong sense of community and its commitment to academic excellence," said De La Cruz. "The supportive environment and dedicated faculty make it an ideal place to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering, while also competing on the court."
"Culturally, Lorence will be a seamless addition to the quality of individuals we currently have on our roster and will be another high character fit in the classroom and community," said Pearson. "Fans can expect an elite vertical athlete in Lorence that allows him to play at the rim at his size."
Â
Kuon Kuon | Ohama, Nebraska | Casper College
Kuon joins the Saints bringing a lot of size and length. Kuon dawns an impressive 6'9" frame with long arms that make him an asset on both sides of the ball. Kuon played one season at NCAA Division 1 Bethune-Cookman. He played last season at Casper College where he averaged 6 PPG and 4 RPG in just 14 minutes of play. Kuon will be studying Strategic Accounting at Carroll.
"I knew that I had to put myself in the best position to thrive," said Kuon. "I was ecstatic when the coaches contacted me because I knew they would do everything they could to make me a great player, and more importantly, a better man.""Kuon was our final signing of the season and will bring a system fit for the style we are looking to bring on the court," said Pearson. "I expect Kuon's personality, both inside our team and in the greater Helena community, to be vivaciously present from the moment he steps foot in Helena."
The six newest Fighting Saints and the rest of the team will officially begin practices later this month in preparation for their first games at the back-end of October.
