KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the member institutions who have achieved Champions of Character Five Star designations. Carroll College has been named an NAIA Champions of Character Gold Five-Star Award Winner for the 2023-24 academic year.
Carroll was yet again named a Gold Five-Star Institution, the highest possible score attainable, continuing a long-running trend of gold honors on the Champions of Character scorecard.
Carroll College, as was the case last year as well, earned a perfect 100 score to pace the league.
In addition to the Five Star Gold honor, the Fighting Saints are on the national ballot as the Frontier Conference's School of Character, continuing to model excellence in all that they do.
In total, 209 member institutions were named Champions of Character® Five-Star Award winners for 2023-24.
Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
