NORMAN, Okla. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has announced their yearly team academic honors. The Carroll College Men's Golf team were named a 2023-24 Outstanding Team Academic Award winner. 
 
In total, 240 schools across six divisions, ranging from two-year institutions through NCAA Division I schools, earned a GCAA Outstanding Team Academic Award.

Of the eight NAIA schools throughout the nation that were awarded the Outstanding Team Academic honor, Carroll was the only Frontier Conference school to appear on the list, and the only team in the Western half of the country awarded.

To qualify for the award, schools must maintain a team-wide 3.0 cumulative GPA or better. The Carroll Men finished the season with a 3.18 cumulative GPA.

The honor marks the third-consecutive season that the Fighting Saints have been recognized for their academic achievements.
