FARGO, N.D. – The Victory Sports Network has released its 2024 NAIA Football All-American Team and individual awards for the season. Carroll College Student-Athletes Hunter Peck and Carson Ochoa were both recognized for their on-field acheivements in the 2024 season.

About the selections: The VSN NAIA Football team is compiled by Jason Dannelly of the Victory Sports Network. Nominations are automatically taken from each All-Conference team in the NAIA. Input on the selections comes from coaches, SIDs and media members around the NAIA. The final selections are made by Dannelly.

Carroll defensive lineman Hunter Peck (Windsor, Colo. / SR) earned First Team VSN All-American honors.

Peck adds yet another postseason honor following an outstanding 2024 season. In addition to the VSN First Team nod, the senior was named Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year, First Team All-Conference, and an AFCA NAIA First Team All-American, and AP Second Team All-American. His growing list of accolades is warranted as in total, Peck finished the year with 50 tackles (22 solo, 28 assisted), in addition to 6.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and a fumble recovery. 

Peck was named a finalist for the 2024 Cliff Harris Award, recognizing the best Small College defensive player in the nation, as well as a semifinalist for the 2024 William V. Campbell Trophy.

Tight end Carson Ochoa (Yorba Linda, Calif. / R-JR) was  selected as a VSN Third Team All-American.

Ochoa was one of the best players in the Frontier Conference, putting up large numbers from his tight end position. The big tight end finished tied for the team-lead in receptions with 47. He totaled 525 yards (11.17 yards per catch) and four touchdowns and was named a First Team All-Frontier selection as well as a Second Team AP All-American, continuing a long tradition of extraordinary play from Carroll tight ends.
