HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team will host No. 6 Arizona Christian tonight at 7 p.m. in the Carroll College PE Center, looking to move to 3-0 to start the season.
Monday night's matchup between the Fighting Saints (2-0) and No. 6-ranked Firestorm (3-0) will be the culmination of ten events hosted at Carroll over the past five days, featuring a pair of undefeated teams.
Carroll, who was picked to finish last in the Frontier Conference Coaches' Poll, has surely turned some heads, starting the year 2-0 including an 83-77 win over No. 16 Oregon Tech, their first ranked-win since the 2022-23 season (1.21.23 vs No. 12 Montana Tech, 84-77 Win).
The Saints will look to make it back-to-back ranked wins tonight, as they take on the No. 6-ranked Firestorm, who enter the game off a 90-81 win over Rocky in Billings on Saturday.
Isaiah Crane (Portland, Ore. / SO) has impressed in his first two career starts. The shifty point guard leads the team in scoring, averaging 22.5 ppg, while
James Lang (Portland, Ore. / R-JR) is right on his heels at 21.5 ppg.
Derek Kramer (Bellevue, Wash. / JR) will look to post his second-consecutive double-double, averaging 13.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg entering the night.
