HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team will square off with No. 2 College of Idaho tonight at 7 p.m. in the J.A. Albertson Center in Caldwell, Idaho.

The Fighting Saints (3-4) continue their grueling start to the 2024-25 season this evening with a road tilt against the No. 2-ranked Yotes (2-1).

Friday night's matchup in Caldwell will mark the fourth ranked-game of the season for the Fighting Saints, just eight games into the young season. Carroll is 1-2 in their ranked games so far in 2024, with a win over No. 16 Oregon Tech, an overtime loss to No. 6 Arizona Christian, and a seven-point loss last weekend in Butte to No. 22 Lewis-Clark State.

The Friday night battle with C of I, and a 12 p.m. Saturday rematch with Eastern Oregon, will be the sixth and seventh games against opponents from the Cascade Collegiate Conference for the Saints, with their lone other opponents hailing from the GSAC and Cal Pac conferences.

The Yotes enter the weekend coming off of a loss against No. 10 The Master's University last weekend in California, and have a pair of wins over current Frontier member Providence and future Frontier foe Dickinson State.

This is the first meeting between the schools since the 2021-22 season, where Carroll earned an eight-point win in Butte.

Redshirt-Freshman Isaiah Crane (Portland, Ore.) enters the game as the leading scorer for the Fighting Saints, averaging 18.1 points per game in a breakout season.

Derek Kramer (Bellevue, Wash. / JR) has been outstanding in the early portion of the year, averaging a double-double through seven games (14.4 ppg, 10.9 rpg).

C of I's Johnny Radford averages 14.0 ppg, while Samaje Morgan and Montana-native Drew Wyman each are averaging 11.0 points per contest.
