HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team will be back in action this weekend, playing a pair of games at the HPER Complex in Butte as part of the 2024 Comfort Inn Fall Classic. On Friday night at 5 p.m., Carroll will take on No. 23 Lewis-Clark State, and on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. they'll play Cal-Maritime.

The Fighting Saints (2-3) will get their first road action of the season, albeit two neutral site games against West Coast teams. Friday night's matchup will mark the third ranked opponent of the young season for the Saints, as they open the event against the No. 23-ranked Warriors (3-0).

The former Frontier foes haven't played since the 2019-20 season, where the teams split the season series 2-2.

The Warriors enter the week with consecutive wins over future Frontier-member Dickinson State (81-79) and current Frontier-member Providence (93-73) last weekend in Caldwell.

Carroll will look to bounce back from a pair of losses last weekend at the Delta Marriott Classic, and after tonight's game will have played nearly half of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (BU, OIT, EOU, SOU, LCSC).

On Saturday, the Saints will square off with the Keelhaulers (1-1) for just the third time in program history. The two teams each have one win in the series, with the Keelhaulers owning a three-point win in the last meeting early in the 2015-16 season.
