HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced the winners of its Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference weekly awards for week four of the 2024 Cross-Country season. Carroll's Zack Gacnik has been named the Men's Cross Country Runner of the week following his performance at the Frontier Conference Preview in Billings.

Men's Runner of the Week:  Zach Gacnik, Carroll Gacnik, a junior from Conifer, Colo., was selected as the Men's Runner of the Week.

Gacnik was the top NAIA place finisher in the Yellowjackets/Battlin' Bears Cross Country Open for the Fighting Saints.  He finished fifth overall in the race, clocking a time of 25 minutes, 8 seconds.  A total of 90 runners completed the 8K racecourse.

This is Gacnik's third career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week award, all coming this season.

Gacnik and the rest of the Fighting Saints are hard at work, preparing for the biggest event they'll compete in this season, the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Mich. on October 26.
