GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball team fell to the University of Providence in straight sets, winning 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-19) at the McLaughlin Center in Great Falls on Saturday
Set 1: Providence 25, Carroll 22
The opening set was a hard-fought battle with 17 ties and 6 lead changes. Carroll started strong but couldn't maintain momentum. Nina Janjic was a key player for Providence, notching crucial kills, including two late in the set to help seal the 25-22 win.
Set 2: Providence 25, Carroll 20
Providence built on its momentum in the second set, capitalizing on a balanced attack from Ryann Eddins and Cabry Taylor. Carroll's Elizabeth Heuiser put up a solid fight with six kills, but Providence maintained control, closing the set with a five-point advantage.
Set 3: Providence 25, Carroll 19
In the final set, Providence continued its dominance. Despite two ties, the Lady Argos stayed ahead with kills from Sadie Lott and Nina Janjic. They finished the set at 25-19 to secure the sweep.
