Helena, Mont. – The No. 19 Women's Cross Country and No. 21 Men's Cross Country Saints will preview the Frontier Conference Championships course at the Yellowjackets/Battlin Bears Open on Friday Oct. 4 in Billings, Mont.

Saints Recap

The Fighting Saints raced two weeks ago at the University of Montana Cross Country Invitational. Both teams placed 2nd overall and top of NAIA teams. Zack Gacnik won the meet and garnered Frontier Conference Runner of the Week honors.

Preview

For the women, 10 competitors will race for the Saints. It will be a step up in distance as the first 6k race of the season. Competition has been tight thus far with Rocky Mountain College, so the women's squad will be focused on rising to the occasion as they venture to the Battlin Bears home turf for the second time this season.

On the men's side, 12 athletes will take to the course. The Saints men lost to Rocky Mountain College when they traveled to Billings earlier this season, but they bounced back to beat them last meet so will look to repeat that result this week.

The women's 6k race will start at noon Mountain Time at Amend Park in Billings with the men's 8k race at 12:45 pm.
