Carroll Football Sweeps Frontier Weekly Awards, Carr, Snow Honored

HELENA, Mont. - It was another ibg weekend for Carroll College student-athletes, with five individuals earning Frontier and CCC weekly awards. Jack Prka, Cameron Pruitt, Hunter Peck, Julia Carr, and Alfie Snow were all recognized as conference players of the week on Monday.

Football Offensive Player of the Week:  Jack Prka

Prka, a senior quarterback from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is the Offensive Player of the Week.

Prka had a career day, leading (RV) Carroll to a 43-29 road win over No. 12 ranked College of Idaho.  The senior shattered his own school record, throwing for 461 yards and five touchdowns, while going 23-for-29 to increase his NAIA-leading completion percentage to 74 percent.

In addition, Prka added a rushing touchdown to improve his record to 3-0 in Caldwell since 2021.

This is Prka's fourth career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Football Defensive Player of the Week:  Cameron Pruitt

Pruitt, a senior linebacker from Boise, Idaho, is the Defensive Player of the Week.

Pruitt was outstanding in (RV) Saints' 43-29 win over No. 12 College of Idaho.  He led Carroll in tackles, finishing with 10 total tackles, as well as an interception. 

This is Pritt's first career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Football Special Teams Player of the Week:  Hunter Peck

Peck, a senior linebacker from Windsor, Colo., is the Special Teams Player of the Week.

Peck came up with the biggest special teams play of the week, blocking a PAT in the third quarter to keep Carroll in front, allowing them to maintain the lead for the rest of the game in a 43-29 win road win at No. 12 ranked College of Idaho. 

This is Peck's third career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

Volleyball Defender of the Week:  Julia Carr

Carr, a senior defensive specialist from Portland, Ore., was named Defender of the Week.

Carr averaged 6.4 digs per set for the weekend, totaling 58 digs in a pair of matches for (RV) Carroll.  She tallied 36 digs (7.2 digs per set), despite a 3-2 setback to #17 Montana Western.  She followed up 2ith 22 digs (5.5 digs per set) in Saints' 3-1 road victory at MSU-Northern.

Carr also contributed 10 set assists for the week.

This is Carr's tenth career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week: Alfie Snow
(RV) Carroll College's Alfie Snow was named the CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
 
Snow, a junior forward from Middlesbrough, England, had an outstanding weekend in the Fighting Saints 3-0 victories against Northwest University and The Evergreen State College. He recorded a hat-trick in the first game and added another goal the next day for a .667 shooting and shot on goal percentage.
