KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the latest edition of the NAIA Football GoRout Top 25 Ratings. For the first time in 2024, Carroll College appears in the Poll, checking in at No. 21.
After spending the majority of the season without even a single vote in the NAIA Football Coaches' Poll, the Fighting Saints (6-1, 5-0) suddenly have recaptured the attention of the nation.
Carroll began the 2024 season in the receiving votes portion of the poll, re-entering that section last week following a five-game winning-streak.
This week, the streak has moved to six in-a-row, including a win over previously-ranked No. 12 College of Idaho, and the Saints are back in the Top-25 for the first time since last season.
Carroll's ascension into the Top-25 means the Frontier Conference now boasts five schools inside the nation's Top-25 (No. 4 UMW, No. 8 SOU, No. 13 MT, No. 21 CC, No. 24 CoI).
The Saints have now appeared inside the Top-25 at least once in each of the last three seasons.
A battle of Top-25 teams is set for this Saturday at Nelson Stadium. Carroll will host No. 8 Southern Oregon at 1 p.m., with the Frontier Conference lead on the line.

Rating Methodology:
- The rating is rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences. Each conference is given one rater for every four schools in the league or division.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater rates the best teams. A team receives 25 points for each first-place vote, 24 for second-place, 23 for third-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ratings for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) are removed. The team's rating will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes."
