HELENA, Mont. - The Frontier Conference, Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released various versions of their weekly individual awards on Monday. Carroll College had four student-athletes recognized for their in-game achievements; Hunter Peck, Julia Carr, Caleb Hoxie, and Juan Muniz Navarette.

It was a banner week for Carroll College student-athletes, with four individuals across three separate sports earning accolades for their performances.

Frontier Conference Volleyball Defender of the Week:  Julia Carr, Carroll

Carr, a senior defensive specialist from Portland, Ore., was named Defender of the Week.

The graduate paced Carroll to their 5-set matches' split.  Carr tallied 35 digs (7.0 digs per set) in a five-set victory over Rocky Mountain.  She followed with 40 digs (8.0 digs per set), despite a 3-2 setback at No. 19 ranked Montana Tech.

Carr, the NAIA leader in digs per set (7.02), accumulated 75 digs for the week, averaging 7.5 digs per set.

This is Carr's ninth career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

CCC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week - Juan Muniz Navarette, Carroll
(RV) Carroll College's Juan Muniz Navarette was named the CCC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Muniz Navarette, a senior goalkeeper from Hermiston, Ore., helped lead the Fighting Saints to two more victories over No. 24-ranked Southern Oregon University (3-1) and Oregon Tech (2-0). He played full time in the net during both matches, completing five saves for a .833 save percentage.

CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player Player of the Week - Caleb Hoxie, Carroll
(RV) Carroll College's Caleb Hoxie was named the CCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

Hoxie, a graduate midfielder from Helena, Mont., had an outstanding weekend in the Fighting Saints two wins against No. 24-ranked Southern Oregon University (3-1) and Oregon Tech (2-0). He added an assist and scored a goal in each game for a .667 shooting and shot on goal percentage.

Frontier Conference Football Defensive Player of the Week:  Hunter Peck, Carroll

Peck, a senior defensive end from Windsor, Colo., is the Defensive Player of the Week.

He led the Saints with 10 tackles, tallying an impressive 3.0 tackles-for-loss (TFL) and a pair of quarterback sacks in 24-19 home victory over Eastern Oregon.

Peck joined the 100-tackle club at Carroll, now sitting at 109 tackles in his career.

This is Peck's second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.

NAIA National Football Defensive Player of the Week:  Hunter Peck, Carroll

Peck's big weekend in Helena didn't stop with him just earning conference honors. The senior was recognized as the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week following his stat-stuffing Saturday.

Peck, a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, was as disruptive as possible in Carroll's 24-19 win over Eastern Oregon.

He becomes the first Carroll Football Player to earn National Player of the Week honors since the 2023 season when Jack Prka (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho / SR) was named Offensive Player of the Week following a record-setting passing day.

Peck is the third Carroll student-athlete to win a weekly national award in 2024, joining Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / SO / WSOC Def.) and Felix Billard (Mallorca, Spain / SO / MSOC Off.).
