HELENA, Mont. - Homecoming weekend is here, and with it comes a new class of standout Carroll College Fighting Saints from years past joining many other greats in the Carroll Athletics Hall of Fame. 

Saturday morning, the annual Carroll Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place . at the Carroll College Campus Center. Five individuals and two teams will forever be memorialized as some of the best of the best in front of family, friends, alumni and Carroll supporters.
 

The Carroll College Athletic Hall of Fame honors Saints athletes who have left a lasting legacy on the college with their careers as exemplary student-athletes. Those inducted into the Hall of Fame have demonstrated the highest standard of sportsmanship and accomplishment in their athletic endeavors. Members of the Hall often set records, win championships and earn other distinctions for their achievements on the field and in the classroom. The Carroll College Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes student-athletes, coaches, staff, teams and others whose athletic successes advance the college's tradition of champions.

The 2023 inductees are:
 

ANDY GARLAND - MEN'S BASKETBALL: 

There is no denying that Andy Garland is one of the best to ever grace the PE Center hardwood; Garland finished his Carroll career as one of the most decorated players in program history. Four times he was named as an All-Frontier Conference performer, highlighted by a Frontier Conference Player of the Year honor in his sophomore season. He was a four-time NAIA All-American (Honorable Mention - 2009, Third Team - 2010, Second Team 2011, and Second Team - 2012). Garland finished his time as a Fighting Saint second in all-time points scored (1,985). Garland averaged 6.9 rebounds per game, 18.3 points per game, and shot 52.7 percent from the field in his outstanding four-year career.
 

BUBBA BARTLETT - FOOTBALL: 

Bartlett continues a longstanding tradition of excellent Fighting Saint Tight Ends. Bartlett was a member of two NAIA National Championship teams (2007, 2010). In 2009, Bartlett was named AFCA First Team All-American. In both 2009 and 2010, he was named First Team All-Frontier Conference in addition to being named VSN First Team All-American. In his four-year career as a Fighting Saint, Bartlett finished with 162 receptions for 1,765 yards, an average of 10.9 yards per catch, and 15 touchdowns. Upon graduation, Bartlett signed with the NFL's Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent.
 

ALYSHA GREEN - WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:

One of the most prolific scorers in Carroll Women's Basketball history, Green's name appears all over the program's record book. Three times Green was named to the All-Frontier Conference team and was an honorable mention all-American her junior year. Green ranks in the top-ten in program history for career points (1,440), career scoring average (13.2 points per game) and career three-point field goals made (212). In 2010-2011, she averaged a career-high 16.2 points per game Over her four-year career as a Fighting Saint, Green averaged 33.8 percent from the three-point line, 3.9 rebounds per game, and 13.2 points per game.
 

CHANCE DEMARAIS - FOOTBALL: 

Demarais goes down as one of the greatest running backs to ever wear a Carroll uniform. A member of the 2010 NAIA National Championship team, Demarais excelled both on the field and in the classroom. In both 2010, and 2011, he was named First Team All-Frontier Conference as well as Academic All-Conference and NAIA Scholar-Athlete. In 2011, Demarais was named the Frontier Conference Player of the Year, AFCA First Team All-American, and most impressively, the NAIA National Player of the Year. In total, Demarais rushed for 4484 yards, had 425 receiving yards, and finished with 50 career touchdowns. His 2011 final stat line included1861 total yards and 21 touchdowns.
 

JIMMY MEE - MEN'S GOLF: 

Only the second golfer to ever be inducted into the Carroll Athletics Hall of Fame (Bill Lannan, '90), Mee is perhaps the best golfer the program has ever seen. Four times Mee was an All-Frontier Conference performer. In the Fall of 2011, Mee took home medalist honors at the Carroll Invitational, and later the next spring was crowned Frontier Conference Champion. In 2012, he was named NAIA National Golfer of the Week after firing an opening-round 64, a new course-tournament record, at the Frontier Conference Championship.
 

2011-2012 MEN'S GOLF TEAM: 

Arguably the greatest golf team in Carroll history. Coached by Ben MacIntyre, and assisted by Doug Teders and Patrick Harris, the 2011-12 team of Jim Mee, Ben Ternes, Taylor Ratliff, Ben McIsaac, Nick Shull, Connor Hausauer, Anthony Wood, Pete Markuson, Nick Jankiewicz, and Erik Gilbert won the school's third-ever Conference Championship. The 2012 Conference title was Carroll's first since 1963. Led by Jim Mee, the Saints won the UGF Invite at Meadowlark CC, upset a highly-ranked Lewis Clark State team in the Frontier Conference Semi-finals, en route to a Frontier title, and placed 19th at the NAIA National Championship.
 

2008 FOOTBALL TEAM:

The 2008 Carroll Football team were undefeated Frontier Conference Champions, ultimately finishing as the NAIA runner-up, and remains one of the best teams in program history. The 13-1 Fighting Saints capped a thrilling 38-37 shootout against Lindenwood in the NAIA semifinals to appear in their sixth national championship game in seven seasons. Carroll finished the 2008 season No. 2 in the NAIA with 51.5 sacks for a total loss of 331.5 yards. Linebacker Owen Koeppen was named NAIA National Player of the Year following a 114 tackle, 13.5 TFL, and nine sack season performance. Several Saints (Owen Koeppen 1st Tm, Adam Brockway 1st Tm, Marshall McEwen 1st Tm, Zach Thiry 1st Tm, Travis Browne 2nd Tm, Rick Young 2nd Tm, Zack Richardson 2nd Tm, Alex Pfannenstiel HM, Travis Browne HM, Gabe Le HM) were named NAIA All-Americans.

Saturday morning's induction ceremony will be the formal enshrinement of the class of 2023, and the cohort will be recognized on the Nelson Stadium field at halftime of today's 2:00 p.m. homecoming football game, where the Saints host Arizona Christian.
