HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball Team will be in action for the third consecutive weekend, making the trek to sunny San Diego, Calif. for the 2023 Saint Katherine Invite with games this afternoon and tomorrow.

The Fighting Saints (4-4) will look to finish the early-season portion of their schedule on a high-note this weekend in San Diego before a small break in the action ahead of what is shaping up to be a grueling Frontier Conference slate.

Three Saints attackers are averaging over two kills per set on the young season, Lauren Heuiser (Helena, Mont. / FR) 2.25, Sidney Gulick (Kalispell, Mont. / SO) 2.52, and Mara Lynch (Bozeman, Mont. / SR) 2.93. Carroll will need the trio to be effective this weekend if they wish to enter the Frontier side of the schedule with a winning record.

Lauren Sehenuk (Hermosa, Calif. / SR) has been tough for opposing attackers to navigate at the net. The senior has 25 total blocks on the season to lead the Saints, and aims to add to that total this weekend in San Diego.

For the second weekend in a row, the Saints find themselves in the southern part of the country for a tournament, and for the second weekend in a row they will square off with a pair of ranked teams.

Carroll will kick things off this morning with an 11 a.m. (MDT) game against UC - Merced (Calif.) (1-7). Live stats for the game can be followed HERE.

The Saints will have a bit of rest this afternoon before their first of two matches against ranked teams this weekend. Carroll will take on No. 24 Ottawa (Ariz.) (2-2) this evening at 5 p.m. Live stats for that match can be found HERE.

Tomorrow morning, the Saints will get their shot at the host school, Saint Katherine (Calif.) (5-2) at 11 a.m., LIVE STATS, before gearing up for their final match of the event.

No. 19 Vanguard (Calif.) will be the Saints' final opponent of the weekend, with a start time scheduled for 5 p.m., follow the live stats HERE.
