Marion, Ind. – Carroll Track & Field wrapped up Day 3 at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships taking place at Indiana Wesleyan University from May 24-26.
Garrett Kocab competed in the Shot Put to round out a stellar Carroll College career. On Thursday he earned his second All-American honor for his runner up finish in the Discus after placing 8
th last year.
The Saints had a great meet overall with
Brett Glaser also earning All-American on Thursday for his 2
nd place finish in the Decathlon. Two freshmen (
Reuben Hornby in the Javelin and
Brycen Gardner in the 3000m Steeplechase) gained valuable experience that will serve them well in the future.
Chloe Gallagher competed in the Pole Vault for her third trip to Nationals.
"I'm incredibly proud of all five athletes who qualified for the meet," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "Each of them came in focused, competed hard, and took advantage of the great atmosphere," he added. "To also come away with several All-Americans is a big bonus, and we're looking forward to the future with our younger athletes."

The NAIA Outdoor National Championships concludes the 2022-2023 year for Carroll Track & Field and Cross Country. Cross Country begins training over the next few weeks in preparation for the 2023 fall season starting in mid-August.
