Marion, Ind. – Carroll Track & Field scored two runner up finishes on Day 2 at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships taking place at Indiana Wesleyan University from May 24-26.
Brett Glaser earned 2
nd Place and All-American status in the Decathlon. He set personal records in the 110m Hurdles and Pole Vault and had solid, competitive showings in the Discus, Javelin, and 1500m with 2
nd Place event finishes in the latter two events.
Garrett Kocab scored his second track All-American honor for his 2
nd Place finish in the Discus. Last year he placed 8
th in the event. He will finish out his college throwing career Friday with the Shot Put starting at 3 pm Eastern.
"We are so incredibly happy today," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "These two seniors have gotten better their whole time at Carroll, and finishing out 2
nd in the Nation is an amazing accomplishment that shows how much work they put in," he added.
