HELENA, Mont - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team hits the road for the the final time in the 2022-23 regular season tonight, visiting Montana Tech in Butte, Mont. at 7 p.m.

The Fighting Saints (11-12, 5-7) will look to win the season series between the long-time rivals, having picked up a seven point win over now-ranked No. 11 Montana Tech (21-4, 9-3) last month in Helena.

Montana Tech won the initial meeting between the two schools in early January in Butte, 86-79, and have their eyes on a Frontier Conference regular season title.

Carroll would love to play spoiler to the Orediggers title hopes, and slide them one game back closer to both (RV) MSU-Northern and Providence in the Frontier standings.

The last ten matchups between the two schools have been, for the most part, tightly contested and entertaining for fans of each school. Carroll holds a 6-4 advantage in the last ten meetings, including the most recent game in Helena.

The Saints have struggled to win in Butte, however, with their last win in the mining city coming all the way back in 2017. They hope to change that this evening, and bolster their position in the Frontier standings heading into the conference tournament later this month.

The Frontier Conference's two best scoring threats will go head-to-head this evening in Butte. Montana Tech's Caleb Bellach is leading the conference with 19 points per game, while Carroll's Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / SO) is hot on heels with 18.5 points per game. The pair put on a show in the last meeting, combining for 51 points (Bellach - 27, Cook - 24).
