KIRKLAND, Wash. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team earned a huge 5-1 win over Northwest on Saturday afternoon in Kirkland.

The Fighting Saints (7-3-4, 5-3-3) rode a second half explosion to a four goal win over the Eagles (7-5-3, 6-3-3).

Enrico Paparelli (Sao Paulo, Brazil / FR) scored the only goal of the first half, scoring in the 25th minute to give Carroll a 1-0 advantage heading into the break.

Michal Mojzis (Bratislava, Slovakia / JR) doubled the Saints' lead in the 68th minute, and the rout was on.

Ryan Quinn scored in the 73rd minute, and Sam Loughton (Hull, England / FR) added another in the 80th minute to make things 4-0 in favor of the Saints.

Migelangel Kery (Rockville, Md. / FR) scored in the 86th minute to up the lead to 6-0 for Carroll, before the Eagles found their first and only goal of the game in the 87th minute off of the foot of Jacob Moon.

Carroll's win locks them into the CCC postseason tournament for the first time since the 2018 season.

The Saints will turn their attention to a Friday afternoon test at Providence next week in the season finale.
