HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team is back in action at the Carroll College PE Center tonight, hosting Rocky Mountain College tonight at 7 p.m. in Helena.
The Fighting Saints (10-9, 4-4) have the opportunity to jump back over .500 in Frontier Conference play tonight when they host the visiting Battlin' Bears (10-10, 2-6).
Carroll picked up a pair of huge wins last week, including an 84-77 win over No. 12 Montana Tech on Saturday, and will look to stack victories as the season winds down. The Saints are currently sitting in third place in the Frontier Conference standings, two games behind both Providence and Montana Tech. A win over Rocky tonight would ensure a series win for the season, and aid the Saints' effort to secure a top seed for the upcoming Frontier Conference tournament.
Carroll's
Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / SO) enters the game as the reigning Frontier Conference Player of the Week, averaging 27.5 points per game last week, including a career-high 31 point performance in Dillon.
A young and hungry Saints group is starting to put the pieces together, seeing productive minutes from the bench, something that has been reflected in the results of the last two games.
Rocky's Kael Robinson has been the leading scorer for the Bears on the year, averaging 12.1 points per game and nearly 29 minutes of court-time per game.
Tonight's game will be streamed live on theÂ
Fighting Saints Network: presented by Point S Tire & Auto Service, and live stats can be foundÂ
