HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Basketball team will look to get back on track and pick up a Frontier Conference win this afternoon when they host MSU-Northern at the Carroll College PE Center at 4 p.m.
The Fighting Saints (8-8, 2-3) dropped a tightly contested matchup in the final seconds to Providence on Thursday, but MSU-Northern (12-6, 1-4) enters off the more heartbreaking loss. The Lights fell in a double-overtime thriller at Montana Tech on Thursday.
MSU-Northern emerged victorious in the last meeting between the two schools in Havre last month. Carroll will look to avenge that early season loss, and regain some positioning in the Frontier Conference standings.
A pair of Freshmen,
Brayden Koch (Helena, Mont. / FR) and
Isaiah Moore (Fairfield, Calif. - FR) led the Saints in scoring in Thursday's game against Providence, and will look to keep the hot hand heading into today's tilt with the Lights.
MSU-Northern's Jesse Keltner is one of the best big men in the Frontier, sitting in second place in rebounds per game (7.3) and first in field goal percentage (62.8 percent). Carroll will look to neutralize the forward with their own outstanding big man in
Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo. / SR), who currently leads the league in rebounds per game (7.9).
Today's game will be streamed live on the
Fighting Saints Network: presented by Point S Tire & Auto Service, and live stats can be found
