HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball team is ready for a road battle with No. 19 Montana Tech tonight in Butte, Mont.

Coming off of a thrilling five-set win over Montana Western in their Frontier Conference opener last Friday, the Saints (9-8, 1-0) are feeling confident about their team.

Carroll will make the hour-long trip down I-15 for a showdown with No. 19 Montana Tech (13-6, 1-0). The Orediggers enter tonight's match having beaten Providence 3-1 in their first game of the Frontier Conference regular season.

Carroll's Julia Carr (Portland, Ore. / JR), the reigning Frontier Conference Defender of the Week, will look to continue her stellar defensive play on the year, and slow down Tech Outside Hitter Marueen Jessop, who has twice been named the Frontier Conference Attacker of the Week.

Carroll beat Montana Tech in the semi-final of the Frontier Conference tournament last season, but the Diggers took the two schools' first match of the 2022 season 3-0.
